when the pubs & clubs close, dublin bus is on hand to get  party revelers home from 12.30 until last buses @ 4.30 am

these " nitelink " buses,  are express routes radiating from the city centre to all the major suburbs usually served by dublin bus.

dublin bus has had a traditional of having an allover livery bus advertising the nitelink. originally, donnybrook olympian ra 177 wore a purple/ black based colour scheme. in june 2004, volvo b7tl, av 256 returned in a new allover blue based allover advertisement. here is a feature on this unique bus..........

AV 256 was the last Dublin Bus to wear a Nitelink livery, which first appeared on RA 177 is the " Owl " version, followed by the yellow
" clock " version. Seen at Larkhill 21st May 2005.
