Its the end of an era.......

Dublin Bus Rinsgend Garage AV 318 seen at UCD Belfield, the last & only Dublin Bus left in dark blue & cream colours in February 2007.

Now, in 2007 as Dublin Bus celebrates 20 years, its left behind both the Cityswift & old core livery, replaced with a yellow/ blue style based on the Dublin county colours, first introduced in 2004.

The honor of the last Dublin Bus in the old core cream & blue livery fell to Ringsend Garage AV 318 ( 03 D 20318 ), an Alexander ALX400 bodied Volvo B7TL.

During its final few days before respray, here is a feature on AV 318 on route 2 at Belfield. Routes 1, 2 & 3 transferred back from Donnybrook to Ringsend Garage in January 2007.

AV 318 is seen at the student campus of UCD Belfield.

Both routes 2 & 3 operate from here to Parnell Square & Larkhill.
