To celebrate 50 years of the Treaty of Rome, Farmeligh set in the Phoenix Park hosted a family day packed with various events & celebrations on Sunday 8th July 2007.
Dublin Bus provided a shuttle bus service from Parkgate Street to Farmleigh throughout the day.

Summerhill Wedding Bus AX 419 delivered in 2005 poses for the camera at the entrance to Farmleigh. The shuttle bus service was operated from 10 am on Sunday every 15 minutes depending on volumes.
Unlike the Bloom festival, the turnout was far lower using the shuttle bus.
Three buses operated the route throughout the day, Harristown RV 570 & AX 379 along with Summerhill AX 419
A slip road at the end of Parkgate Street provides an ideal turning circle for buses used on the Phoenix Park shuttle.
This side view highlights the current Wedding Bus livery: grey skirt panels, white overall with cloud/ bride in the adframes. In July 2007, as part of the new Dublin Bus branding, the Dublin Bus logos were changed on the Wedding Bus & Airlink fleet.
A number of Summerhill based Olympians & ALX400's are fitted with this additional luggage rack to accommodate suitcases on both the 41 group & Airlink services to Dublin Airport.
These luggage racks were first introduced on the RH's delivered to Summerhill in 1990 & can now also be found on Donnybrook's AX 396-398 for route 746 plus Conynynghams Railink AV359-362.
Summerhill has currently 2 Wedding Buses, AX 418 & 419.
While not operating Wedding Bus duties, they can be found on scheduled services 16 group, route 20B & the 41 group.
During the summer months & it being the wedding season, most of the wedding buses are held back,especially at weekends for wedding duties, as the buses must be cleaned & the floral accessories added to the interior.
