In January 2008 a new policy was introduced at Donnybrook.
The 20 strong fleet of the VT class ( VT 1-20 ) were to be restricted to Monday to Friday service, to reduce fuel consumption & poor utilization at weekends.
Some of Donnybrook's EV class, previously used exclusively on route 145
( Mountyjoy Square - Bray - Kilmacanogue ) were allocated to route 46A.
EV 35 is seen operating on route 46A at Dun Laoighaire station.

Route 11A is part of the 11 group, with the main 11 running from Wadelai Park in Glasnevin, via O'Connell Street to Clonskea & terminating at Kilmacud close to Stillorgan Shopping Centre. Route 11A shares the same routing as the 11 northside, turning short at Clonskea past the Mosque & terminating on Mather Road. Route 11B is another short working, operating to UCD in Belfield. The 11 group is a low floor route, using the ALX400's from Donnybrook Garage.
In February 2008, EV 24 & 32 along with AX 449 & 544 were fitted with transmitter devices ( attached to the inside of the drivers window ) to relay realtime information back to the garage.
