Holyhead- Dublin
Dublin Bus operates a special express service between Dublin City Centre & Dublin Port to the main Irish Ferries terminal for sailings to/ from Holyhead.
Early morning & evening services are extended to/ from Heuston Rail Station serving the City Centre.
The only City Centre stop is at the Central Bus Station ( at the rear of the building across from Store Street Garda Station ) ( see photo below ).
Buses meet ALL Irish Ferries sailings, both the conventional Ulysses & high speed Swift crossings.
Clontarf Garage Volvo ALX400, AV 66 operating the 16:30 departure from outside the Central Bus Station. While there is currently no bus stop at this location, its at the rear of Bus Aras across from Store Street Garda ( Police ) Station.
Have your exact fare to pay the driver - NO advance booking required.
Pristine  Bombardier KE 35 along with double decker KD 156 seen outside the Irish Ferries passenger terminal at Dublin Port where bus services operate from.

Walking from Dublin City Centre to Dublin Port is NOT recommended due to long distance ( 1 hour approx ).

Some route 53/53A services operate from Dublin City Centre ( Eden Quay ) but do not operate as far as the Irish Ferries terminal. Only services marked " Alexandra Road " operate inside Dublin Port, with a 15 minute walk from the terminus to the port terminal.
