Nothing like a good ould Ghost story in a Dublin graveyard.

Staring your tour on the upper deck of the the Ghost Bus, known as Molly, your guide will settle you in for a night of discomfort & darkness .
After a few spooky stories at the Royal College of Physicians on Kildare Street & some hair raisers at Saint Stephens Green, the first stop on The Ghost Bus Tour of Dublin is at an unassuming little graveyard on Camden Row, where you will learn about the art of body-snatching & aparitions in Church ruins.
A good tour always requires a live volunteer.
Here you will learn how to body snatch while leaving the corpse intact.

It's all about technique, but just dont try this at home !!!!!- graveyards are much better...
The Ghost Bus is suitably decorated inside & out.

Dark colours are the trend naturally, the curtains remain closed throughtout the trip, haunting music sets the tone & ocassionaly the lights GO OUT !!!!!

James the guide will freak you throughout the journey by the chilling stories of Dublin's dark past. He will walk up & down the aisle & test your fear factor, its interactive.........

Meanwhile in the background, haunting music plays, not just on the bus, but also on your mind..............
Welcome aboard the Ghost Bus.

The tone for the evening is set as soon as you board the Ghost Bus, its sinister accessories & dark atmosphere is not for the squimish.  You will enjoy the tour from the upper deck throughout the trip.
Continuing your search, now thats its dark !!!, we arrive at St Audeons Church, which dates from medieval times & is Dublins oldest parish church. Going through the arch, which is the last surviving gate to Dublin City, again some serious story telling which will leave you thinking.......you will be given a few minutes to wander around & soak up the atmosphere, but just dont go alone, or speak with strangers.......

Its now 10 pm & the tour is nearly over, before you board the bus & head back to O' Connell Street.
Is it a ghost ???? - no, its just a Ghost Bus driver !!!

Well done to the Guide for the evening, James & driver Francis for a great night out.

The tour departs from Dublin Bus Head Office on O' Connell Street.

Tickets can also be purchased online from the official Dublin Bus website.

To really appreciate the Ghost Bus Tour, there's nothing like a tour during the autumn/ winter months when the tour is in complete darkness, both inside the curtain drawn windows & while entering the Chilly graveyard & Audeons Arch.
Here's a feature - IN THE DARK.....
The Ghost Bus, known locally as Molly, dressed for the occasion....
like a funeral hearse !!
The Ghost Bus guide, a true professional, ready to enchant his victims. Its not this bright !!!!
The first walkabout, a late night walk in your local Dublin Graveyard, now....who's first in the gate ????
Just your typical Gravestone, but is anybody home ????
You will see plenty of them before long.
What's more real then a live demonstration, complete with the necessary tools of the trade.
Yes, its this dark.
No light bulbs in here.
Don't talk to strangers !!!
Please make sure to close the gate behind you, we don't want all the cold to escape. Thank You.

Let us put you at your unease on Dublin's oldest and best Ghostbus Tour. We will introduce you to the dark romance of a city of gaslight ghosts and chilling legends.

The bus itself is a unique attraction, it is a mobile theatre decorated in the gothic style and features a live storyteller who takes you on a spellbinding trip through Dublin. Once onboard, we take advantage of this atmospheric setting to spirit you away to a world of felons, fiends and phantoms and put you in the mood for being both charmed and spooked at the same time.

En route you learn the real origins of Dracula and his Dublin born inventor, Bram Stoker. We stop at the College of Physicians to recreate the strange activities of Dr. Clossy, whose spirit is still seen walking the corridors carrying a bucket of human entrails. We visit the site where Walking Gallows, the notorious judge, jury and hangman dispatched his victims in a most gruesome fashion.

This tour may not suit those of a nervous disposition!
