While Dublin Bus is the first operator in the British Isles to operate the Enviro500, Hong Kong has been operating with the Enviro's since 2002.
Hong Kong operator KMB ( Kowloon Motor Bus Company ) which operates over 4,300 buses into most urban areas of the region was the launch customer of the Enviro500's in 2002, with the first batch arriving in late November of that year & entering service in early 2003. By February 2006, KMB has 250+ Enviro's, classed ATE in service.
