Donnybrook Garage Volvo Olympian RA 187 in allover livery for AXA Insurance. RA 187
( 94 D 187 ) was part of Donnybrook Garage' s first allocation of RA class ( although still classed RH at time of delivery ) & delivered in two tone green livery with a revised front styling & Volvo chassis following the closure of Leyland at Workington.
It first received an allover livery for ESSO in 2000, similar to Broadstone's RH 159, later being updated with " Tiger Miles ". In 2003, RA 187 received a new allover purple livery for Calyx software. In early 2004, RA 187 received the above livery for AXA Insurance along with a number of Olympians with similar mega rears. AXA Insurance were heavily promoting their brand following their acquisition of well known PMPA Insurance, itself a user of colourbus Dublin Bus advertisements on the KD class many years ago.
RA 187 was resprayed into Dublin Bus core colours in early 2005.
