RH 1 ( 90 D 1001 ) now part of Go North East with fleet number 3950 ( G183WGX ).
Seen on display at the Metrocentre Rally, Gateshead, 30th April 2006.
Still retaining its Leyland logo over the front grill, headlight clusters & fitted with a new dmd & rear view mirrors. The adframes have been removed & the body resprayed in Go North East's striking livery.
Interior view of 3950 ( RH 1 ) with seating re upholstered & new CCTV camera's installed. The centre doors have been removed but much of the interior has been left intact.
Stairs still contains some old Cadbury Twirl ads & even the Customer Focus 2000 leaflet dispenser is intact !!!!
Panview of 3950 ( RH 1 ) looking absolutely superb in its new livery & hopefully many more years in active service.
RH 1 was the very first Leyland RH Olympian delivered to Dublin Bus in 1990 leading to a total of 640 being delivered until 1999.
In 2006, Dublin Bus will withdraw the earlier RH class from active service ( excluding tours/ driver training ).
