RH 152

From Donnybrook to Conyngham
Donnybrook Leyland Olympian, RH 152, one of the garages oldest RH's was transfered to Conyngham Road following similar RH 153 previously.
RH 153 only remained in Conyngham for a very short period before moving on to Ringsend to cover for accident damage.

RH 152 seen above at the purpose built bus terminus outside Heuston Railway Station. For years, this area was a parking area for Irish Rail employees however has since been transformed, even recently with the LUAS light rail, seen on the opposite side of the bus shelter in the above photo.

Route 90 is usually operated by low floor ALX 400's, AV 359- 362 which are specially fitted with extra luggage racking in the lower saloon for the odd suitcase......

RH 152 is seen later departing from the Aston Quay stop towards Heuston Station. This is the main City Centre stop with passengers gathering  on demand. Heuston Station is not ideally located in Dublin City Centre & the 25 minute walk is too much for many travellers.

Route 90, ( plus short working 91 ) which operates from Connolly Station via the City Centre ( Aston Quay ), alongside route 90A which operates from the International Financial Services Centre via the City Centre ( Aston Quay ) was joined in January 2005 by new route 92, linking the LUAS green line on Saint Stephens Green via Aston Quay to Heuston.

Seen behind RH 152 is Donnyrbook based Volvo Wright Crusader WV 7 operating a route 92 . Donnyrbook surprisingly operates this route, which is set to move to Conyngham Road soon & upgrade to low floor double decker service.
