Route 17    Dolphins Barn to Blackrock
Leyland Olympian RH 91 ( 91 D 1091 ) of Donnybrook Garage seen at Dolphin's Barn 19th September 2006.

Donnybrook had been storing its remaining batch of Leyland RH type Olympians ( RH 89-91 & 143-152 ) undercover at Donnybrook since earlier in the year in preparation for the Ryder Cup golf. As general AV & AX class from Donnybrook were required to operate the Park & Ride shuttles to & from The K Club, the RH class was re-instated into normal scheduled routes from the garage.

The RH's  appeared on a number of Donnybrook routes, including the 17 & 18 in particular, along with the 14/14A, 46A & 63.

Blackrock DART Station
RH 90 is seen operating orbital route 17 on the 19th September not long after being pressed back into service. Route 17 operates from Dolphins Barn close to St James's Hospital, via Crumlin, Dundrum, Clonskea, U C D Belfield, Stillorgan & Merrion Road to Blackrock DART Station.

RH 90 at the opposite end of the route, in well heeled Blackrock & having completed a peak run ahead of schedule.
All of the Donnybrook RH's have no ads fitted into their frames given their limited time in service. Route 17 in particular had a number of RH's allocated to its route over any other at Donnybrook.

Despite its earlier mothballing in the year, RH 90 is spotless inside with all seat cushions in particular fresh appearance, all fittings in perfect condition & apart from the 1991 reg plate, very suitable for service.
